Janet Howie writes articles and poetry, and keeps a journal. She has a particular interest in haiku, writing in the modern form, and happily combines these literary activities with botanical art, community life and swimming at Willy beach.
Her work has won a number of awards and has been published in literary magazines.
She lives in Williamstown and is married to Ross. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
