Mary Jones

Mary emigrated to Australia from England in 2008. In the UK she was a member of The Writers’ Guild and the Crime Writers’ Association. She has written full-length and short fiction, and been published in a variety of magazines in the UK and Europe. She has also written stage plays for amateur and professional performance, and had a short story read on BBC Radio 4.

Since arriving in Australia she seems to have morphed into a performance poet, though she still writes fiction, articles and radio plays. She has had four poetry collections published and has just finished her first crime novel. She has been the guest feature poet at venues in Melbourne, and is available for readings.
