Puzzle Australia comprises 48 reproducible blackline masters designed as a teaching aid for social and environmental studies for upper primary and lower secondary school pupils. It provides a variety of activities based on the theme Australia.

Puzzle Australia is divided into seven sections: Flora and Fauna; History; Geography; Natural Resources;  States and Territories; Sport; Arts and Politics. Puzzles include word-grids, wordsearches and crosswords. A Quick Workers box extends the use of each sheet by challenging pupils to go on to make up their own puzzles.

Puzzle Australia puzzles might be used as: focus points for class lessons, revision sheets to consolidate class lessons, follow-up lessons, exercises for fast workers, homework sheets.

Puzzles can be readily adapted to suit a variety of age, grade or ability levels, for example, by inserting an answer or two into a grid.
